Q: Where are you originally from?

I'm originally from Taichung, Taiwan.

Q: What is the scene like there?

Taichung is a hella chill city. A lot of Taiwanese people still don't know much abou the graff scene. So it's pretty chill to paint. That's why we call Taichung, "Tai Chill city".

Q: What got you into graffiti?

I've always been into drawing. During the 2000's in Taiwan Hip Hop was really popular, and I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I started looking into it for myself.

Q: Is there any city you would really like to paint/any scene you're really into?

I wana go everywhere!!!! lol but lately I've been itching to travel to Europe. I never been there, and I am feeling that scene now. 

Q: How did you come up with your name? did you write any other names before "Same"? Saym? How long have you been writing?

I got my name from my Chinese middle name, pronounced Hsuan in Pinyin. Taiwanese slang pronounces this Chinese character is similar to "Sam". I wrote Sam for awhile. After, I added my Chinese last name pronounced Yi in Pinyin, which sounds like long vowel sound "e". Then I started writing Same in 2006, I linked up with The Seventh Letter crew at the Letter First Art show in Taipei, Taiwan. CHEK helped me out with making my name stand out more, by asking Saber's input about my name. He then figted me with the letter "y". So, I started writing Saym. Now, I write whatever I want. Before there was Same, Sayme, and Saym, I wrote SHIT! lol Really though. So now I write "Same Shit..." I started writing in 2000, but I really didn't get into it until 2004.
